Most schools were not originally designed to safely handle the number of buses and cars transporting students to and from school. This has caused a problem which puts children at risk. SAFE Design is a unique One Day Intensive Workshop to raise awareness and create traffic safety solutions (applying principles of Safety, Aidability, Function, and Efficiency).

A SAFE Design Workshop focuses on evaluating and offering solutions to conflicts between students, cars, and buses. One Day with Synthesis will generate designs that improve safety, circulation (and school appearance). The workshop will also provide you with the strategies and tools necessary to pursue implementation.
