Synthesis Featured on New Discovery Channel Series, Construction Intervention

Watch us on “Construction Intervention” May 28th, 2010 at 7p.m.

Synthesis designers review plans with contractor

SYNTHESIS, LLP is proud to announce their association with CONSTRUCTION INTERVENTION, an all-new Discovery Channel series.

Watch SYNTHESIS in action with Charlie Frattini in Howard Beach, New York as Charlie rallies his troops to renovate a crumbling youth center that provides after-school programs for more than 100 families in the community.

CONSTRUCTION INTERVENTION follows Charlie Frattini, New York Construction Extraordinaire, and his trusted team of contractors and designers as they find businesses who are in danger of failing due to botched, delayed, or impossible construction jobs and rescue them from their construction woes.

SYNTHESIS, LLP designed and supervised the construction process for the S.T.A.R.S. Community Center, a non-profit grass-roots community youth organization that is run entirely by dedicated volunteers who plan activities and events for the neighborhood youth.

SYNTHESIS worked to create an exciting and inspirational space, within in the context of a narrow, tiny 100 year-old building, which presented many surprises during its nearly impossible five-day renovation schedule. SYNTHESIS worked closely with the producers and contractors to meet the tight schedule demands of the show and to take this building from disaster to show piece. To make the project a success, the firm was on-site for nearly every hour of the construction progress to respond to changes due to field conditions and schedule demands.

The show airs this Friday May 28th at 7:00 p.m EST and at various other times (check TV listings or www.discoverychannel.com for other show times).
