Synthesis was one of the five firms selected out of 250
firms worldwide to complete in a conceptual waterfront design
competition for 15 km along the Ancient Yellow River in the
City of Suqian, China. Suqian is located at the north end
of Jiangsu Province and is considered one of the important
cities in Asia. Suqian is rich in natural resources and seeks
to become a destination area for tourists. The goal of the
plan was to create a “sightseeing belt” for tourists
that will link various areas of the city with the Ancient
Yellow River.
