Synthesis developed a master plan for this park along the Mohawk River, creating walkways, focal areas, and linking to Schenectady’s historic Stockade District. The three-phase Master Plan will reconnect the City with its river and offer structured hardscape areas as well as green space.

The plan includes exterior renovations to the existing pump house, creation of overlooks, plantings, and three separate parking areas, conveniently located to various access points. The park extends to the Union College boathouse and provides a number of seating areas along its length. Synthesis redesigned this formerly underused park along the Mohawk River, creating walkways, focal areas, and linking Schenectady’s historic Stockade District with downtown.
