Synthesis provided professional services for an 8,000 squarefoot diagnostic imaging center for St. Clare’s Hospital. The space was designed to accommodate a new CT and MRI on the main floor of the hospital, which required special construction and engineering techniques to segregate adjacent building areas from the imaging suite. Custom wall/floor shielding for radio frequency fields, radiation, and sound transmissions were incorporated into the design. Modalities include MRI, CT, Dexascan, Digital and Traditional Mammography, and Breast Ultrasound.

Finishes were selected for non-institutional appearance while complying with the facility’s maintenance requirements. The interior design is contemporary and conveys a feeling of warmth, while providing durability. The design provides designated areas for women’s imaging needs and incorporates HIPAA requirements for patient privacy.
