Synthesis was selected by the Utica City School District to provide pre-referendum planning work for the District’s upcoming capital project, which was estimated to cost approximately $150 million. Synthesis was selected in a qualification- based process from a group of 6 architectural firms, some of whom are nationally noted.

Our selection was based on our personalized hands-on approach with principal involvement, our visionary ideas, and prior similar work in other urban school districts. The project entails various maintenance, energy, and security related upgrades. Initial tasks will include analysis of problem areas in the district’s facilities, and scoping and budgeting as related to the results of that analysis.
