The Schenectady Day Nursery provided Synthesis a unique opportunity to work with different finishes to create a colorful and inspiring environment where children can learn and play. The design involved the renovation of a historic building, construction of an addition, and installing new ductwork and modern lighting. New heating and air conditioning ductwork was exposed under high ceilings to create a playful visual element.
