Synthesis designed alterations at the Pleasant Valley School for interior renovations, including the renovation of the auditorium, bathroom facilities, and installation of an elevator. Planning for classroom and program spaces involved the redesign of the ground floor, which allowed relocated administrative staff to supervise the building entry from a highly visible main office.

Synthesis developed a four color scheme for the newly expanded gymnasium to give the space character and complement the historic nature of the building. High-quality, durable materials were specially selected to minimize costs and maintenance while providing polished and handsome finishes.

Synthesis also designed renovations to the surrounding site, including organizing parking and road access, providing handicap accessibility, and making the school grounds more attractive.
